Yes, using the A+LS™ User Toolkit, you can import a list of users from any delimited file into the user.db. The file format that you use must be a .csv file. You can use an Excel file and then save it as a .csv file. Remember, always click Reset Default before you start.

The alsutk.exe (click here to download utility) file must be copied into the root of your ALS directory. It will work only from this location. If desired, you can create a shortcut to it and place it on your desktop.

Double-click alsutk.exe. The User Toolkit window appears.

Click Import Users.

Use the window that appears next to locate your .csv file.

Next, select the fields you want to use in your import in the same order they appear in your .csv file. For example, if you have your file set up so that the columns across are Password, Login Name, Last Name, First Name, than click those boxes in the same order so they appear in the column next to the Fields window.
